*New solo looping BIO* - Andy Reiner, AKA the Skiing Fiddler, oozes creativity and Colorado vibes. Never willing to accept the end of winter, he skis glaciers and volcanos into the summer. Learning fiddle from age five in the Reiner Family Band, Andy now performs with Rapidgrass, Slay & Stinson, Half Pelican, Ridgeliners, and as a solo artist both in the USA and internationally. As a composer, Andy's fiddle tunes, songs, and new works for string orchestra are influenced by mountains, world travels, and the incomprehensibly vast universe. His work as a podcaster (River of Suck), scare actor (Halloween haunted houses), and an educator (Rustic Roots Retreat, Fiddle Hell) continue to shape his perspective as an ambassador of stoke (The Stoke is real!) Andy's solo looping performances feature electric fiddle, electric tenor guitar, beatboxing and voice, with repertoire spanning originals and covers from the bluegrass, old time and Celtic traditions.
