We’ve spent months obsessing over the details so you don’t have to. From the height of the bar stools to the depth of the menu, Port Union is ready to become your usual spot.
We’re turning up the lights to open this Thursday, April 23rd. Come for the modern American flavors; stay for the company.

Raising a glass to our friends at Lemon. 🍋
Today they were named Top 10 Honorees in the 2026 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, and nominated for both Best U.S. Bar Team *and* Best U.S. Cocktail Bar.
We’ve had a front row seat to the care, energy, and detail behind what they do every day, and it shows.
Huge congratulations to the entire team. We’re forever cheering you on!

A new chapter from Chef Rodolfo Cuadros.
Next month, Port Union (@portunionchicago ) opens in Wicker Park, taking over the former home of Bloom Plant Based Kitchen.
From the chef-owner behind Amaru, the concept expands beyond plant-based while maintaining the same intentional approach, reframing modern American cuisine through a more layered, globally influenced lens.
A soft opening is planned for April 17, with weekend brunch to follow in May.
Stay tuned for more details to come!

Early spring at Brindille. 🌱
Chef Carrie Nahabedian moves through the season with precision, white asparagus, bright acidity, then into richer plates like rabbit and duck, all grounded in classic French technique.
Cocktails follow suit, a French 75, a proper Vieux Carré, and originals built with oolong tea, amaro, and citrus.
If you haven’t visited in a while… now is a delicious time to book at Brindille!

“If there’s a better two-mile dining stretch in Chicago, we still don’t know where it is.”
Chicago Avenue between Noble and California is once again in the conversation, with @crainschicago recognizing the renewed energy across West Town, including @six4creative clients, @beatnikrestaurants , @goodfunkchicago , and @nettarechi .
It’s proof that strong neighborhoods are shaped by operators willing to take risks, invest deeply, and build for the long term.
Proud to work alongside the teams defining this stretch, and appreciative of @aribendersky for highlighting the momentum unfolding here.
Get out and explore @westtownchicago today!

Two Michelin Keys. Three acres of 45-year-old Albariño vines. Granitic soil. Atlantic air.
At Casa Beatnik Country House, the vineyard begins just beyond the gardens, linking your table directly to the land. The fruit is hand-tended and organically farmed, later shaped in collaboration with celebrated Galician winemaker, @rodrimendezarosa , and laid to rest in the estate’s historic cellar.
Harvest is celebrated with friends and family at @casabeatnik . Wine labels are painted by hand by resident artist @thetropicalista . Even a 400-year-old Cascón vine anchors the property’s story.
The property, conceived and designed by @maisonbonhomme and @bonhommegroup , was recently named one of Europe’s essential winery hotels by @tablethotels —and if you’ve walked these vines, you understand why.
Big congrats to the entire team, as none is more deserving. Stay tuned for more to come from our friends at @bonhommegroup !

Some dining rooms carry history. Brindille carries legacy.
Chef @carrienaha is one of the most decorated chefs in the country, and @brindillechicago ’s James Beard Award–winning design mirrors the same precision and thoughtfulness found in her cuisine.
Through February 12, she’s offering three decadent courses for $60, (plus pairing suggestions from the incomparable @michaelnaha !)
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience true hospitality at one of Chicago’s most celebrated dining rooms.

Last week, we were honored to welcome Mayor Brandon Johnson to Amaru during Chicago Restaurant Week.
He was greeted by Chef Rodolfo Cuadros, who has long been creating food with intention that celebrates culture while standing firmly behind the communities that make our industry possible.
Moments like this underscore why @chefcuadros4 ’s work at @amarurestaurant (and @bloompbk ) resonates so deeply within Chicago’s dining landscape. We’re grateful to champion him and can’t wait to share what’s next with this talented crew.
+ big thanks to @danaponts , @keiffer_5 and @choosechicago for such an exciting opportunity for the team!
