A beautiful ending to a Friday evening @portunionchicago â¨
What makes this space stand out is the intention behind it from the warm lighting and timeless ambiance to Chef Rodolfo Cuadrosâ vision of creating a restaurant that feels both elevated and deeply welcoming. You can taste the craftsmanship and storytelling in every detail.
After learning more about the Chefâs connection to curated spirits last year, trying the Rum Mojito felt even more intentional , layered, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. The French 75 Cognac added the perfect elegant finish to the evening.
A concept rooted in hospitality, culture, and experience now bringing new energy to Wicker Park. Add this to your next dinner reservation #wickerparkchicago #dinner #restaurant
Motherâs Day at Port Union, done our way.
Join us for a dinner built around the barâmartinis, French 75s, and a lineup of wine-driven cocktails paired with the food you know and love.
Think crisp, cold martinis, a perfectly balanced French 75, and a few unexpected pours to round out the evening.
Chicagoâs most underrated new opening right now has to be Port Union in Wicker Park. It completely surprised meâfrom global, immigrant-inspired dishes to really solid classic cocktails (get the pisco sour). @chefcuadros4 has done it once again! We left full and already planning our next visit.

Built with a Slagel Farms double patty, draped in melted Chihuahua cheese, and topped with the perfect crunch of pickled & charred red onions and house pickles. We finish it off with our signature charred chili aioli for that subtle heat you didnât know you needed.
Pull up and get familiar.
Welcome to WPB, Port Union!
Last Friday, we celebrated the grand opening of Wicker Park Bucktownâs newest restaurant, Port Union, at 1559 N Milwaukee Ave, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Port Union (@portunionchicago ), developed by Chef Rodolfo Cuadros â the creative force behind Bloom Plant Based Kitchen and Amaru (@amarurestaurant ) â is designed as a lively neighborhood gathering place where guests can settle in for dinner, cocktails, or an evening at the bar. The restaurantâs menu reflects Chef Cuadrosâ view of American cuisine as a constantly evolving conversation shaped by generations of immigrant cooks. And vegetarian dishes remain an important part of the menu in recognition of Bloomâs legacy, including banana blossom cake with preserved lemon remoulade and mushroom risotto finished with parmesan and herbs.
The bar is a cornerstone of Port Union. Rather than novelty-driven drinks, the beverage program focuses on timeless cocktails executed with precision. And the dining room has been redesigned to evoke the feeling of an established neighborhood restaurant rather than a newly built concept, featuring warm woods, brass accents, and soft lighting. Stop by to see for yourself! ()
Port Union is open every night for dinner, and they also offer lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Head to their website to reserve a table or call (312)-363-3110 for more information.
Weâre so happy youâre here! đ
