This project unveils a new facet of Zjilea, one that embraces the edge, the raw, and the unexpected. Inspired by the unapologetic energy of Rico Nasty, Doechii, and Doja Cat, Alterity explores self beyond convention: a space where alternative Black girl aesthetics thrive without compromise.
Here, Zjilea steps into a different skin, not a departure but an evolution. A reclamation where grit meets glamour, and defiance becomes beauty. This side of her is unafraid, unfiltered, electric—a visual narrative that challenges what Blackness and style are “supposed” to look like.
