2024 has been a life changing year for me. I was actually gearing up to leave Los Angeles at the beginning of this year. I didn’t think there was anything thing left here for me, but I had this idea that had been on my heart for 8 years and I wouldn’t have been able to forgive myself if I didn’t at least give it a try. If you scroll through this post you’ll see what giving it a try can look like.
@rosegawd you have changed my life and I can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done. Thank you @_taraking_ at @findyourhilltop for supporting and believing in @auntie.jamz . I appreciate everyone that has attended, posted a flyer, or even told a friend. Y’all don’t know how much it all means. I’m closing my 2024 with joy and gratitude and I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings!
When we began this journey to bring Black joy and a sense of community to Los Angeles, we could only dream of it. The love and support we’ve received has truly surpassed all expectations.
