It’s really hard to put into words what this loss feels like. To never know a person but to be so impacted by their work and forever changed by their music. His music attached to so many of my core memories since a young girl, a shared experience for many of us. D’Angelo was one of one, we don’t get to meet artists like this very often. A phenomenal lyricist, musician, and artist. So grateful I got to experience him live, a moment I will always remember. May his music and artistry live on forever. Thank you for the inspiration.
