the 2026 promotion of KWEIRD school of dance is inviting you to an afternoon celebration of spring time and the end of a beautiful school season for queer weirdos.
We’re doing it Witchy
dress Prom-iscuous
and come dance with us and do magic shit
there will be :
- Dance Oracles
bring your personal problems and get help from a reader of mysterious cosmic dance
- a Ritual to Transcestors
the queers from the past shall return through our bodies and deliver their message
- a Magic Cauldron
with extra witchy soup, also regular fresh drinks will be available
- a Surprise Cabaret show of magic tricks by KWEIRD students and deans
- Music, dance party, hang out and a cosy bonFire

A part time intensive dance education program

KWEIRD is an intensive dance education program happening in Berlin between January 5th and March 28th 2026. It is clearly situated in the lineage of alternative and queer culture and aims at offering a path for weirdos and misfits and anyone interested to bring more dance in their art practice and lives.
It's structured in 12 weeks part time: monday, tuesday and wednesday afternoon and evening, from 14 to 20h.
Workshops and classes will be facilitated by dance makers from Berlin's contemporary dance scène, with a focus on queer and international artists and educators.
Wereld finding out where it can take place and we will have a cosy home base soon.
We want to form a small group of 6 to 10 participants who are motivated to embark and commit to the full journey and create a lovely collective energy of learning and creating dance together.
