Closing the VA: @luar.techno — Drift. A masterclass in stripped-down minimal techno. A single hypnotic synth line does most of the work, with everything else pulled back to exactly what the track needs. Excellent mix engineering, and the right choice to send the record out. Out now on Sine Space 7.

@jack_fresia his "Down in My Cave". A turn on the VA toward stripped-down, direct techno. Still minimal at the core, but built for layering: clean short sounds that repeat without ever landing the same way twice. The kind of track DJs reach for when they need forward motion without showing their hand. Out now on Sine Space 7.

@ecilo_official his track "Abandoned Gravity' on the new VA is rich in melodic work. A steady techno foundation, with sound moving around it rather than on top of it. Staccato violin lines cut through as the track unfolds. One of those cuts that reminds you how much room techno still has for melody. Out now on Sine Space 7.

Track four on the new VA is a collaboration between @maono.he and label heads @truxx_sinespace7 . A more restrained, pad-driven cut. New elements surface slowly, atmospheric layers folding into each other until they dissolve into echo. Patient music. The kind that opens a set, or holds a room in the late hours. Out now on Sine Space 7.

Welcome a new name to Sine Space 7: @badray___ His track Sufokia sits right in the heart of what the label is about: synth-rich, hypnotic, textured. A cut built for long, woven sets, where the details reveal themselves the deeper you go. Out now on the new VA.

Welcome back @temasaaa , on the new VA. After his debut EP "Atnias" last summer, he returns with more of what made that record land: rolling low-groove techno, minimal soundscapes, no wasted motion. A dark, focused cut that pushes forward from the first beat. Out now on Sine Space 7.

First track on the new VA comes from Origami. Maybachufer is a techno piece with its heart somewhere else: live-played piano and violin woven into the classic techno frame. Emotional, textured, unlike anything else on the record. A rare kind of opener. @origami.km

Release day! SS7.018VA is a Various Artists release featuring 7 tracks by 8 artists, presenting a very diverse range of techno tracks. Bringing together new names alongside more established artists, the compilation reflects multiple approaches to techno, from expressive and melodic ideas to functional, club-oriented productions. The tracks move between emotional compositions and more practical DJ tools. Origami’s “Maybachufer” stands out with its strong sense of character, using piano and violin elements to add warmth and emotion to a solid techno framework. Ecilo his track Abandoned Gravity also has this mystical emotional ambience in its flow. On the more dancefloor-focused side, Jack Fresia contributes “Down in My Cave”, a modern, DJ-friendly track built for mixing and layering. Its clear structure and driving groove make it well suited for longer sets and transitions. Overall, SS7.018VA is a compilation that highlights variety within techno, balancing listening-focused tracks with effective club material. The closing track “Incantation” completes the ritual, unfolding as a slow and immersive descent into atmosphere and repetition. Dreamlike pads echo and dissolve into space, stretching time and softening the edges of the groove as the track moves forward. Subtle modulation and lingering resonance create a floating sensation, allowing the EP to exhale while never fully releasing its hypnotic pull. Also available as a free download on the Sine Space 7 soundcloud page. Artist @jamesharbrecht Artwork @bridgettegower

Deeper lives up to its name, unfolding with a dense and driving energy shaped by a prominent tom-driven groove that runs throughout the entire track. A constant, evolving pad hovers in the background, slowly shifting and adding depth as the rhythm rolls forward. This interplay between percussion and atmosphere gives the track a steady sense of progression, deepening the EP’s hypnotic momentum and reinforcing its continuous flow Artist @jamesharbrecht Artwork @bridgettegower

Naturally dives even deeper into the shadows, carrying a dark and heavy tone that feels grounded and introspective. A subtle, dubby vibe runs through the track, shaped by spacious echoes and low-end pressure that give it a deep, inward pull. The groove unfolds steadily, drawing you into a submerged atmosphere with endless repetition. Artist @jamesharbrecht Artwork @bridgettegower
