Set in Muhoroni Kenya, Cocoa Dreams follows a brilliant physicist who returns home after inheriting her family’s sugar estate only to confront family tensions, patriarchy and the weight of legacy. Directed by Jinna Mutune Odede (known for Leo), Cocoa Dreams premieres at Unseen Cinema on 15 May, with screenings also on 16 and 17 May at Anga Cinema.
