Really excited to play some new NMG stuff tomorrow at the University Glasgow Concert Hall and at the Ivory Hotel on 8th March as part of GLARC's 10 year anniversary.
We have been updating our live set and are (finally) fully in sync now. It's been a lot of fun π

Very excited about our first show as Network Music Glasgow, which is a project between @simonweins , @rachelnichuinn and myself. We'll be playing alongside New String Collective and Susannah Stark who are both great. It'll be in the Glad on the 26th.

Temporarily waking up from the last few years of exhibition hiatus for a new sound installation made together with @ferwenn as part of iNsEcurE, organised by @aniaraomann at the @glasgowprojectroom .
The piece we developed links together a few things that we have been exploring as @soft.tissue_ over the past few years, ranging from our curiosity to develop alternative surround sound systems to playing with sounds that are at the edge of being audible. We have learned an awful lot going through this and are very curious to see the piece in full bloom over the next couple of weeks.

If you have any experience using Max/MSP, Pure Data or Supercollider and you would like to improvise with other people in real-time and real-space, please get in touch. The goal of this is to start a small patching community in Glasgow that can exchange knowledge and help each other make more mistakes.

I have been wanting to play/improvise with people through networks for quite a while and have just found out how easy it is to set this up. If you are interested in the possibilities that this might offer, please let me know. I really miss playing with people and am incredibly curious to hear what might come out of this π

Just came back from a fantastic little trip to Stockholm recording some new @soft.tissue_ material as part of the digital programme for Edition festival. πΈ Thanks to the fantastic @johnchantler , @ferwenn and @manos_saklas for providing food, shelter, attentive listening and an introduction to the EMS Stockholm and the world of Serge.
