How did we get here? It’s because of the people that have shown up for both Pascale and I (pictured and unpictured) I am so incredibly grateful for the interconnected community around us, and I hope we can take the seed and fertile soil that has started here and continue to mold it into something lasting and beautiful. Further up and Further in! 📸: @calebtimmermanphoto

The question ceased to be, “How do I love you?” And has become, “How would I ever stop?” There aren’t enough days in the universe, but after 30 (wait over 2000!) I know that each one will be better than the last and every single one is just a Little more Fortune <3 📸: @calebtimmermanphoto

On Sunday I was able to send my longest standing sport project to date. Will tipped me off to this section of cliff nearly three years ago while we were trying one of his classics, Man of the Cloth nearby. Will is a very cautious man in nearly every aspect of his life and hunting for new sport routes is no different. It’s hard to say what makes him commit to a line. Similarly while hunting for virgin stone he always wears his snake boots for protection. This micro corridor at the stone door has come to be known as Snake Boot Pass in our circle. When I rapped down I couldn’t believe that there was just enough to make it happen. I for one can’t wait for him to make a quick repeat of this line. Many of my friends have tried the route and I know they are so accomplished it won’t take nearly as much effort, but I am very thankful to their kindness for letting me struggle and grow to finally put this route to rest. The transition from barely doing single moves to red point attempts is always so incredible to look back on. We are incredibly capable when determined. I hope I can use some of this determination to help actualize positive change for more than just a few crags in the woods. After the second season, I was making great progress on the middle main crux but kept falling on the very last move from a critical slimper to the clipping jug. I couldn’t make it happen. I thought I just need to try harder or get stronger. I quickly became obsessed. After exhausting all the good will I had built up dragging the guys out to this satellite corridor with nothing for them to do but catch my falls, it became a case of where Pascale and I would leave town at 4:45 and get to the wall by 5:45 in the spring just enough time for a single attempt before headlamps were pulled out. That way the weekends could still be spent elsewhere. I learned better beta, I was getting stronger. But man it was still so hard and I was still falling! It ended up just needing a lot of patience, and of course the perfect conditions. The plan Sunday wasn’t to send, it was just to refamiliarize myself… The stellar 📸: @brickbroecker - love ya man.

… Into doors and more doors, no end of doors, And full length mirrors doubling and tripling The apparitions of doors: circling corridors of Looking glasses and doors, some with knobs, some With no knobs, some opening slow to a heavy push, And some jumping open at a touch and a hello. … The high chaser of laughter, the doors on doors And the looking glasses, the room to room hunt, The ends opening into new ends always. :: 6 years and 6 months and laughing with you is still the best. Maybe we can do 66 more?

“I want to live in a society where the currency of exchange is gratitude and the infinitely renewable resource of kindness, which multiplies every time it is shared rather than depreciated with use.” - Robin Kimmerer Thank you to everyone who made 2025 such a wonderful year. For all the big moments and the in-between moments. I hope we can continue to show gratitude and kindness towards each other and fight for all people to share in the same love, community, and freedom that we all deserve.

We pivoted so many times I think we sped up the rotation of the earth, but dang what a fun weekend! I hope things can slow down and we can all get together again soon. Where will the council decide to go next??
