During a 3 hour parade an average of around 24 Palestinians will be bombed by US-made bombs, die from starvation and disease due to the siege on Gaza, or shot by settlers in the West Bank with government issued automatic weapons. These people are the immediate families of our community members here!!! Let’s not just let this go on in the background as we drink and get fucked up and forget about it! Instead let’s use this opportunity to show our solidarity and fulfill our responsibility to end the genocide so Palestinians can party and dance in the streets and live the life they too deserve!
