I did the gyaru makeover and shoot with @ppgalclub while in Tokyo! Visited @kawaiimonsterland while in Tokyo and it was so much fun! 🍭🎀✨ I went twice, the first time on a normal day and the second time to attend their Kawaii Monster Party! I would definitely recommend going to a party when they host again - it was so much fun, kawaii energy! And I ran into some familiar faces I haven’t seen in a while! 💖 I never got a chance to visit Kawaii Monster Cafe back in the day, so I’m happy I could visit its new iteration! It looks amazing inside and all the Monster Girls have amazing designs and performed so well! It was fun meeting Simone at @harajukudayla , a celebration of Harajuku fashion in Little Tokyo. “My background is in art and design. I’ve been making art ever since I was a child and I’m always eager to learn new mediums and methods of creating things. I especially love traditional media and working with my hands, but also interested in utilizing those skills with digital tools. “I’ve been attending Harajuku Day since either 2018 or 2019. I’ve been wearing Harajuku fashion since I was in high school but didn’t know there was a community in LA until I found Harajuku Day. I love how welcoming, kind, and diverse our community is. Harajuku is for everyone to enjoy! “I created the shop @softsekaishop as a way to be more involved with the Harajuku fashion community. I make accessories inspired by my love for the fashion and kawaii culture. I love seeing how my customers incorporate my pieces into their coords! “Today’s outfit was inspired by this month’s theme “oshi kei”. It’s like a decora sub-style inspired by one’s “oshi” or “idol” as I understand it. My oshi is Rilakkuma, I’ve been collecting Rilakkuma for over 10 years and wanted to show my love for the character.
