Act II: Cowboy Carter
When I received my tour plaque , a surge of gratitude filled me. My younger self would not believe me if I told her she would dance on two tours with B. I started this dance career late and I thought I had to move to Los Angeles and all the things people would tell me… but God said don’t worry I got you baby. And boy He does.
It really is surreal when I look back on my life and see how much has changed these past few years. I’m grateful for my tribe who has stuck with me through college, pharmacy school, young adulthood, and now aunties and uncles who are doing everything we said we would do. I love y’all truly and so grateful for my tribe. I’m thankful for my family for always pushing me to succeed. They always said if Simone is going to set out to do something, she’s going to do it. And yes they’re right lol but thankful they set that standard for me. They saw something in me, even when I didn’t see it in myself at times.
Feeling extremely grateful for this life. The seasons along the way that shaped me, the trials and tribulations that made me. I set out to dance with my number one artist and I did that. Doctorate, earned. Dream artist, booked. People always ask me what’s next, and the answer will always be whatever God has for me🤎
