These are our boys.
10 years old. 13 years old. 14 years old. 14 years old. 15 years old. 16 years old. 17 years old.
Missing from Norfolk. Missing from New Orleans. Missing from Philadelphia. Missing from San Diego. Missing from Crofton. Missing from Statesville. Missing again from Norfolk.
Different cities. Different ages. Different faces. One broken-hearted pattern that we refuse to scroll past.
Somewhere right now, a mother is waiting by her phone. A father is driving streets he has already driven. A family is holding each other and asking Yah to bring their boy home. And these boys, each one of them, is someone’s whole world. Someone’s morning prayer. Someone’s reason to keep going.
Please know that we see them. We see their faces. We are not moving on.
This is why Therapy for Black Men exists. Not only to hold the grief after the loss, but to sound the alarm while there is still time. To share their faces while their families are still hoping. To pray believing prayers while the story is still being written.
We are asking three things of you today. Share every image in this carousel. Someone in your network may know something. A share costs you nothing and could bring a child home.
Pray. Not a quick prayer but a deep, sustained, believing prayer that covers each of these boys by name, by face, by city, by family.
Stay loud. Do not let the algorithm bury these children. Keep sharing. Keep talking. Keep showing up for Black boys the way you would want someone to show up for yours.
Our boys are worthy of being found.
Our boys are worthy of safety.
Our boys are worthy of coming home.
We will not be quiet. Not today. Not ever.
