NAFASI NZURI ART SPACE - At Don Bosco youth center Dodoma
Meet Joyce - an artist and volunteer dedicated to empowering children from low-income families in Tanzania through art and creativity. Through the Tanzania Skateboarding Initiative, Joyce is creating a safe and inspiring space where children can explore their imagination, express themselves freely, and build confidence through art classes.
Over the past few months, we’ve been searching for a volunteer to support this project it hasn’t been easy. I’m truly grateful to @nessasaul for connecting me with @safari_ink_yc who has now started teaching art classes to our kids. In just a few weeks, her dedication has already made a powerful impact.
We kindly ask for your support in providing learning materials and other resources to help these children grow and thrive. Many of them have never had the opportunity to attend school, and this initiative is a way of giving them purpose, creativity, and a chance for a brighter future.
At the end of the year, we will host an exhibition to showcase the beautiful artwork they will create a celebration of their talent and progress.
