And just like that it was over!! So grateful-What an experience! From casting months ago-so happy with the team we chose from Production with Rebekah Farmer Stage Manager and Julie Evans ASM and @bebe.artnstuff wrangling Lights and Audio for the show (and the Actors, none more so than Rose Kaur (aka @jasmine_art_hubb ) who despite joining cast the latest of all, and having more costume/character changes than anyone else absolutely shone as our leading lady-so chuffed and proud for her!🥳🤘)
The work and time we all put in was so worth it in the end. Lance, your script served us so well, and everyone gave their all to make it the best show we could, bloody well done to all: @toby_watts@iamtribz@tompatrickcoley@theactorpaulmclaughlin & @manoskoutsis who literally shaved his head for the role, see pics (so perfect-thank you!) @jasmine_art_hubb &. @lancesteenanthonynielsen (aka Alex Heaton) what a time we had. We’ve been reviewed with far better ratings than we dared hope for vs a brand new production, and personally I fell ill the day before the first show and struggled massively with my throat/voice as a result, and we still smashed it!

Still buzzing from tonight. I went to see my good friend @simonberry2 in the brilliant theatre show, "7 Magnificent Egos" at @roseandcrownpub.e17
in London, which is on until the 19th.
And, who do I bump into outside the pub after? Nicholas Rowe and Jason Flemyng, both in the audience!
The mad thing is, just the other day my D.O.P was telling me about a film he shot with both of them… and the director? @lancesteenanthonynielsen who directed (and acted in) tonight’s show. (If you look closely, you can spot him photo bombing us).
I’ve been a massive fan of Jason Flemyng (@jaseflem123 ) for years, and Nicholas Rowe was iconic in Young Sherlock Holmes (1985), not to mention his clever cameo in Mr Holmes (2015) with Ian McKellen.
And to top it off… we just shot a teaser for my own short film Mr Sherlock Holmes this past Saturday in Cirencester.
What are the odds? Small world. Small bloody world. Absolutely buzzing.

In 1960 Hollywood star of the era, Yul Brynner was looking for his first movie to direct. His friend actor Anthony Quinn wanted a vehicle to star in and he suggested a Western remake of The Seven Samurai. Enter producer Walter Mirisch, but he wanted Brynner to star in the movie, and John Sturges to direct. Quinn was out. Those conflicts were just the beginning. There were fights over rights, fights between the cast, fights with the Mexican censor, and fights over the cut of the movie. What makes this story truly unique however, is the exceptional combination of stars involved in the motion picture. This is the hyper satirical telling of the making of one of the most beloved Westerns in Hollywood history - The Magnificent Seven

I’m gonna be in a fringe production of a superb and amusing play penned by my excellent friend Lance Steen Anthony Nielsen
Called ‘7 Magnificent Egos’ it’s in Walthamstow October 13th-16th. Tickets went on sale yesterday!
I’ll be playing Steve McQueen the icon and an idol of mine, a dream role-Thank you Lance! It’ll be first theatre turn in years and I’m also wearing a producer hat for this one too!
Casting is to take place later this month, (paid gig, I’ll make a separate post around that soon)
