The task of good design is to construct opportunities for meaningful human experiences and interactions.
Human experiences are verbs not nouns. Our approach focuses on the actions that take place in spaces (Verbs) rather than just the room names (Nouns) such as bathing, sleeping, dreaming, working, cooking, eating etc.

Light as Brick
A brick so textured it cannot be laid in a wall. Light passes through one material and catches on the ruined surface of the other. The wrong bricks, on purpose.
An installation by @simonastridge for @ehsmitharch , in collaboration with @arcitile.uk

WEEK 17
WINE CELLAR
How do you create an atmosphere? Is it possible to design a space that feels like an old wine cellar? These were the questions asked by our client, a leading UK bespoke furniture supplier. They wanted a basement underneath their existing showroom to host events attended by the architecture and design communities.
