Some stills from our new short film Freedom of the Press.
With this film, we wanted to take you behind the lens of the paparazzi and into the mindset of those chasing the next story. It’s an exploration of our collective obsession with public figures, and how fame can begin to distort the line between what feels acceptable and what actually is.
This short was created as a proof of concept for a feature we’re currently developing. More than anything, we wanted to open up a conversation around the themes it touches on, and hear how people respond to it.
If you’re interested, the full film is now up on YouTube 🎬
Re-creating the lens characteristics of the SIRUI Ironstar 60mm (1.5x) anamorphic lens was so cool! This reel dives more into the 3D part of the shots. Anamorphic lenses will always look amazing in my opinion and I can only recommend SIRUI lenses!

In my new video, I reinforce and bolster the age-old phonetics conspiracy theory that (modern) English has 20-ish vowels. I'm hoping I've pitched this alright for viewers who only have a casual interest in phonetics. And thank you to @faerie.coins and @joshua_liesicke for letting me use you as test subjects. Today's YouTube video examines whether we can ever really achieve visual naturalism in a film. While it may be possible to make things feel less or more 'colour accurate', completely replicating a human visual experience presents all sorts of invisible pitfalls, as much as I'd like to be able to do it! First look at something we are very excited to share more towards the end of the year. Finished the first block of shooting (in Hungary) with the help of an amazing cast & crew. I will do a seperate post tagging everyone with some BTS photos but just want to say a huge shoutout to Anikó for helping so much with the project & Timi at @koborszivekallatmento for letting us film at her dog shelter and to all the dogs we had the opportunity to meet ❤️

Very excited to see this film out! About a year ago, I was afforded the incredible opportunity by @natakerm and Kit to help shape the voices in 'The Dreadful'. Whether to incorporate historical dialect work into a film always has to be a measured creative decision, and I think this was the perfect project for it - so many aspects came together to create a familiar-but-alien world, and I will always be grateful to have been trusted with part of it.
It's also been wonderful to see the cinematography and colour grading, and to have had a chance to poke my nose in on set and learn about the technical wizardry Natasha had planned.
Thank you to @sophiet , @mgh_8 , @mrjonathanhoward and @larzogram for putting up with my notes (and to @greglauritano for letting me slip into frame for five seconds!).
We’re excited to announce that in 2026, we’ll be releasing an 8 part limited series called Living Memory. The series explores 8 different decades through a grounded and naturalistic lens.
The series has been produced by our production company Lipmouth Studios, alongside the help of some incredibly talented collaborators in front of and behind the camera.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved with the production of Living Memory in 2025. We can’t wait to share the first block of episodes with you in the coming months!
