Meeting the sunset in unusual places. This month is also the beginning of festival season; this year, getting all hands on deck and working on the Lentekabinet construction team. A romantic sparring to keep things lively, Ramos & Sima K, have always been close to the collective and it only made sense to invite them on the lineup. They’ll take the honours of closing it down at Shelter this Saturday in the second room. Both based in Amsterdam, their contributions in nightlife are to be praised. They’re both very pleasant and eager figures, pertaining themselves in a courteous manner.
Ramos has been shaping his sound through his latin roots and years immersed in the UK underground scene. With ties to various collectives, he now co-runs Natural Positions, hosting a monthly radio show on Operator Radio. His sets drift beyond genre boundaries, guided by instinct, emotion, and a deeply personal connection to sound.
Sima K, her sound pulls from early 00s groovers and deep house, always with a pinch of playfulness. Recently kicking off her residency at GIMIC in Brussels, she is steadily building an international music network, including Amsterdam and London.
