A little “Party Wave” magic for Kawai’s room! Research shows that art nurtures comfort, imagination, and even early brain development—so we’re thrilled to help spark these traits in his space.
Grateful to @silvisuals for weaving this story together so beautifully.
In 1998, Sean @silvisuals won @shanedorian ’s ‘Surfer of the Year Award’—and with it, a custom @jc_hawaii_surf board that saw countless waves and carried Sean through some early chapters. After years of solid surf sessions, it found a quiet resting spot under his parents’ house for the next 25 years. When it came time to choose something special for our wedding, we knew this board had one more ride in it. We carefully peeled off old wax, sanded it smooth, primed it, and I hand painted it with the flowing wave of our #silvaswell. Seeing it come back to life—this time as a canvas for the love and signatures of our friends and family—was the perfect full-circle moment.

Still coming back down to earth. What an amazing and special day to remember for the rest of our lives. On June 22nd, I married my best friend, my teammate, my everything. Bailey is my rock in life, one that inspires me with her talents of her arts, her compassion, and her nurturing love. I knew very early on that this beautiful person was something very special, and someone I wanna spend the rest of my life with- one that I just felt so safe and secure to be with. I love you so much, Bailey. And it’s such an honor to call you my forever love. You were the most beautiful bride a man could have ever dreamed of. LET’S GOO!
We’re overwhelmed with the amount of love and support from all of our closest friends and family, all of which came together in so many ways to make our day incredibly special, and exceeding our expectations. And to Ke Akua for giving us the most beautiful and gorgeous day anyone could ask for on the ocean.
First and foremost, BIG MAHALO to my brother @jeffsilva808 for organizing such an EPIC ceremony on the Kini Kini outrigger canoe, and for bringing our beautiful vision to life and officiating us in such beautiful and fun fashion. The ceremony felt like a dream. The wedding would not have been at the level it was without all of your support and love. You are the epitome of Mr. Aloha bra, I love you. Alongside my incredible sister in law @dorlenekolina -for all your amazing help with everything leading up to the big day, and the beautiful decorations on the canoe.
