Rock ’n’ roll isn’t dead—it’s evolving. From intimate house shows to legendary venues like the Viper Room, San Diego band Silver Bullet is reigniting the rock ’n’ roll flame. No, they’re not Bob Seger’s crew—but they’ll make you and your dad want to crank it up to 11.
Formed by local San Diego State students, this four-piece band is known for their electrifying performances and delivers a modern, heavier twist on classic rock. With driving basslines, psychedelic riffs, and influences from legends like Black Sabbath and Mötley Crüe, they’re bringing a fresh take to the genre. At the heart of their sound is frontwoman Hannah Geller, whose commanding vocals cut through the band’s raw, gritty energy.
Geller isn’t new to the music scene. With over 200k followers across social media platforms, plus a collection of self-produced singles and viral YouTube covers, her powerful voice is a key part of what sets Silver Bullet apart.
“Something you don’t get from male singers a lot are those real high ranges and the ability to belt crazy riffs,” says Geller. “The female voice is so equipped for rock music.”
Their latest EP, The Evil Cowboy, dropped in September 2024, featuring four tracks of mind-melting riffs and high-octane rock energy. Stream it now on Spotify, Apple Music, and more. And catch them at
