Failure is often the price of Excellence 1475 Total (Meet PR) 545 Squat 341 Bench 589 Deadlift (Meet PR) 1st Place Junior 140kg Came into this meet with a big goal in mind of totaling 1600, and obviously that didn’t happen. Went 4/9 and overall it wasn’t the day I came for, but even in a meet that felt off, there was progress — a 32 Ib meet PR on my total and a 39 Ib meet PR on my deadlift. Not every step toward excellence looks like victory. Sometimes it looks like falling short, learning, and coming back sharper. This meet exposed what needs work, gave me fuel, and reminded me the standard is still higher. I’ll take the lessons, lock back in, and keep chasing bigger numbers. Most of all, I thank God for blessing me with the strength, health, and opportunity to do what I love. This sport keeps teaching me, humbling me, and pushing me. The climb continues. Big shoutout to Randy and @canon_roberts for their help behind the curtain, this wouldn’t have been possible without them. Another big shoutout to all the friends and family that came out to support even though I wasn’t able to put on a show for them they showed me they were proud of me either way
