You’re only ever as good as your collaborators. i remember talking to @adzeugah about the process of making this with the people i made it with and he said , “your crew are soldiers in a battle and each day on set is a war.”
I just wanna extend my gratitude to each person whom i called on board for this project and who gave it their all. your efforts carried me through this. ngiyabonga ukuthi ningenze umuntu, kwande kini bafethu.
to the little post team who had to do A LOT of fixing it in post (cc. @samson.didit@romeo.dube@ts.mpungose ) and who put in that last minute shifts just so we can meet the deadline for submission. i cannot thank you enough, you have elevated the production value of this piece and given it a semblance of hope. thank you gents, from the bottom of my heart.
this serves as a proof of concept and i’ve learnt so much in the process as a filmmaker and a human being that i honestly cannot wait to shoot this film anew.

love this video so much. this happened a lot between takes or a different set up where the actors would just break out in song. the authenticity of it all always brings a smile to my face, the dynamic of the actors and how they understood the world of story. natural performances didn’t feel like acting. when actors just get it!
