A bit late but got the opportunity work on The Masked Singer South Africa last year as a Post assistant, doing all sorts of things like BTS, helping with the masks segments, assisting in the online process and even getting to edit the launch promo. Editing a film in a language I don’t speak made me realise why editing will never be just sticking clips together because story isn’t in the words — it’s in the energy between them.
Because great editing doesn’t translate language… it translates feeling. 🎬
