Reflections 🦋 When we launched METAMORPHOSIS Silk Fan Dance Retreat, the intentions we weaved in for our attendees was to step into their next evolution, at the end of the week..the feedback we received blew me away, I knew this experience was going to be special, but I didn’t realise just how much. I also didn’t anticipate that life would serve me my own metamorphosis.. Months leading up to the retreat I began to experience a series of confronting and painful self-reflections, repressed memories from my upbringing surfaced, my relationship was on a knife’s edge, my shadow was being called out, I felt myself unraveling and something deep within knew that it’s time to shed old patterns, it felt like a pull towards alignment with earth - a feeling that can only be described as a soul initiation, a sense that the universe is nudging me to grow. Not in a way that requires me to achieve more or attain, but in a way that gives back to this planet, leaving it better than how I entered, to truly embody choosing love over fear, and to inspire healing + human connection. The timing feels serendipitous. Sometimes I wonder if that’s life’s way of communicating. To be continued in my next post.. Ps.
