Say hello to our Side Street Projects team! Recently, our core staff and teaching artists came together at Public Displays of Altadena for a Trauma Informed Care training led by Dr. Lee Porscha Moore, our Educations Manager Sarah, Programs Coordinator Maddie, and Communications Manager Stephanie. It was a beautiful experience to have everyone under one roof while enjoying breakfast, and learning how we can better support ourselves and our community through the lens of TIC. This marks a new and exciting chapter for our organization, and we can’t wait to implement the wisdom we’ve gained to continue serving our mission to give artists of all ages the ability and means to support their creative endeavors. We are devoted to community-centered artists through community-led programming that promotes creativity, well-being, and the potential for collective growth.

A huge thank you to the Noah Purifoy Foundation for their kindness and warmth in welcoming us into Noah’s home during our stay. Our core staff had such an amazing time exploring the museum, and spending meaningful time together.
We’re so excited for our students to experience the museum later this month — we definitely had a blast! 🎨

Side Street Projects is pleased to announce Kenturah Davis as the 33rd Annual Phantom Ball Edition Artist. It is a particular honor to be able to work with Davis in the wake of the Eaton Fire. Our collaboration demonstrates true interdependence as we work together to rebuild our beloved community.
Starting today, you can purchase a Davis art piece, sight unseen, for only $200. On June 1, 2026, the price will double to $400 after we reveal the art piece.
We will begin shipping orders of the art piece in June.
The Phantom Ball Edition is Side Street Projects' annual fundraiser. Each year, we team up with an artist to offer a limited edition art piece— all proceeds support Side Street Projects’ free public art programs and education services.
Please help us continue to build on our legacy of mindful engagement with the communities we serve.
