⚡️⚡️NEW LANGUAGE IS OUT EVERYWHERE⚡️⚡️
Our debut album New Language is out today on all streaming platforms, as well as on vinyl through the @easydoesitrecords website. It’s a darker sound overall for us and explores themes of discontent mirrored with plans for a more hopeful future. We’re very proud of it and excited to share it with you.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped bring this album into the world.
We’ll be playing the full album at Empty Bottle on November 12th and will have it for sale along with some limited edition merch.

🎬 Did you know we filmed all the music videos off our debut album New Language, in one day?
Last August we rented a black box theater with no AC and shot four music videos with help from our friends.
We filmed four different concepts with different lighting and costume changes, and couldn’t have done it without our pals @tony_s_rizzo who filmed it all and @hellodezlo who managed the entire day.

Kangaroo is a band of contrasts. They’re loud and noisy, but their songs are hyper-melodic and practically beg to be sung along to. They’re brain-pummeling rock and roll, but they tackle deeper subjects in their lyrics. They’re a punk band that has a nuanced view on religion and spirituality.

Looking back, 2025 was a very sweet year. We played more shows than we ever have, shot a bunch of music videos with our pal @tony_s_rizzo , welcomed new members @realgrimace and @gracekschuler and released our debut album New Language on @easydoesitrecords . We’re stoked for what this year has to bring.
