Unsaved State is a Chiang Mai-based, fully improvised live electronic act; a collaboration between Electro Mass, Red Drum and Aeonlights who concoct a unique electronic journey, twisting and turning through the genres of acid house, techno and breakbeat.
Thailand-based maestro, Casper, has carved out a reputation as one of the most celebrated techno and deep house acts to ever come out of Chiang Mai. His sound flows/ travels/ bounces between progressive house, tech-house, deep house, and techno but is always ever present with his trademark ‘groove’. Casper’s tracks tend to tell a story that takes his audience on a musical adventure.
The forthcoming Takaab PHI with 4 channels of Arpeggio, showing different features of the Arp app.
The Trig Sync / Trig Sample feature restarts the pattern when a note is pressed (Trig In) and samples/quantizes the CV input to transpose the pattern.
The demo uses four channels of midi output from the PHI into HALion, but these replicate the for CV/Gate outputs of the PHI.

@synthderellar blew the roof off Ziggurat as part of @bee.howie 's intermission program; the 4-piece Bangkok-based synth band, playing banging acidy electronica off a shitload of modular (including some local machines 😉) ... so much energy! @annaolssonmusic brought her trademark live-looped and layered cinematic soundscapes to Enfold and @jpbs.band wow, explosive blend of indie rock, metal with 303s and electronic bleeps and glitches. Intense.
At home on Baan Bardo were unique and lively performances by @yubass and @openreelensemble (not sure where my footage of these two went, sorry), @eduardocastilllo with his impromptu but expertly crafted collaboration with Caravana sounded amazing, and for the final 6 hrs of Sunday was a monumental vinyl set by the legend @soundsignature Theo Parish, journeying through all things funk, soul, disco and house, and even getting into to techno at times. Apologies for the technical issues on that one🤦♂️, despite those it was still absolutely epic.
Bit of a late Wonderfruit video dump but December has been a crazy month...
Always a blast working at @wonderfruit , being part of such an amazingly creative festival and strong, professional music team. Not to mention facilitating all the brilliant artists who perform across the fields. Was especially pleased to get to manage the stage at @witpimkan 's brand new Baan Bardo venue. I think it was a hit. Watch out for them moving walls!
Some personal highlights here: @paranoid_london absolutely banging acid at Baan Bardo, KT66 at Enfold, @thevegetableorchestra rockin the taros (I think they were taros), @modernbiology101 with those sonically lush oyster mushrooms, and finally Monday morning sunrise at Solar is always a vibe, this year with @rainbowdiscoclub
All topped off with and impromptu wedding. Probably the first WF wedding; newlyweds @riyoon.vision and @leeela.leela had their ceremony and vows at the parklands. Wishing you the very best and a long happy life together!
