The 2026 Ballarat Marathon ๐ฆ๐บ
Since its debut in 2024, the Ballarat Marathon has quickly cemented itself as a standout event on Australiaโs national running calendar. Known for its relatively flat and scenic layout, though often influenced by unpredictable weather, the course features a fast double lap, testing speed and patience.
Follow Feet First Athlete Donvรฉ Viljoen alongside Athlete Manager and pacer Corey Milner as they line up to take on a windy and gruelling 42.2km.
From the early kilometres, Corey set the tone pacing Donvรฉ with precision but the race didnโt come easy. Battling tough winds and stomach issues, Donvรฉ pressed on carrying the pride of SHYU and the support of her partner on the sidelines.
For Corey, this wasnโt about titles or roles. It was about staying steady and being Donvรฉโs rock when it mattered most.
It may not have been the time Donvรฉ set out to achieve, however still a personal best and a place on the podium. ๐

Follow James Hall, founder of SHYU socks, and Feet First Athlete Nick Eccher as they line up at one of the most legendary races in the world.
From early miles to the final stretch, this is more than a race, itโs about grit, purpose, and representing something bigger. Both James and Nick hit the start line carrying the pride of SHYU and their families in the back of their mind for every step of the way.
