They share how Soul II Soul inspired then to release our own music, and how we learned that real, authentic music from the streets resonates with people far more than what the industry expects.

This was back in the early to mid-nineties when the scene was kicking down the door & demanding to be respected. It's still here, still thriving, and that door we kicked down way back then? it's still swinging off its hinges. 👊🏾🤣👊

15 years ago Sonya would regularly film on a camcorder the interviews on my Music Mondays / Kool FM show. Which still runs to this day every Monday at midday on YouTube and Undergroundbass.
We thought we had lost all of the footage, but somehow managed to stumble across it all recently by chance. I’m gonna be dropping lots of it over the coming months in amongst all of the new content we continually release.
