We’re just a few short weeks away from celebrating our beloved hero @peterrowanmusic at @theryman with a truly spectacular cast of friends and heros who have been a part of Pete’s musical journey. We are honored to announce that the inimitable @gillianwelchofficial and @davidrawlingsmusic will be gracing our stage once again, and this time around we will be joined by the great @shawncamp01 , and Peter’s long time colleague from the Sea Train days to present day, Larry Atamanuik on drums. Adding these heros to the cast of @jerrydouglas @sambushband @stubobduncan @bryansuttond28 and a cadre of friends that includes the likes of @lindsayloumusic @kyletuttlebanjo @domles @phoebehuntmusic @olesmitty @johnmailander @dirtbanjo @shredfiddle @ginarly @s.jo.les and @tod_patrick_livingston , is going to make for a truly unforgettable Nashville night, and I urge you to consider joining us! Anyone who came out last year experienced a multi-generational bluegrass bonanza that kept us warm through a bit of a blizzard. We’re hoping for better weather this time around, but regardless of what Mother Nature has in store for us, we plan on filling the mother church with joyful noise and taking you through all of Peter’s decades in song, not just the grassy bits. We’ll travel from his early days on this very same stage with the great Bill Monroe, to Muleskinner and Old & In The Way, and then we’ll follow that Mississippi Moon , Down the Medicine Trail across the River of Time, through the Land of the Navajo in search of that High Lonesome Sound - and hopefully after we ride that Midnight Highway none of us Dustbowl Children are left Thirsty in the Rain. “WYKYK” — Last month @shredfiddle and I got the chance to spend a few days in #portland tracking fiddle on some new tunes. At the end of the weekend, I hastily put up a microphone and we played through my latest single “When You Know, You Know”. The mic’ing wasn’t great (hey, I’m as songwriter, not a producer, @joel_rousseau ) but I think I salvaged this bit, thankfully. Thank you to everyone who has saved, followed, and listened to this song regularly. It means the world to know so many of you are resonating on the same frequencies with me in this song ‘cause…when you know, you know.

Heartbroken to share that our friend Gabe Hirshfeld has passed on. He was truly one of a kind — bright, clever, endlessly creative, hilarious, and deeply kind. His presence lifted rooms, stages, and spirits, and the music community is forever better because of him. We’ll miss you, brother. Until we meet again. Sending love, light, and strength to his family and all who loved him. ♥️🙏
