WELCOME TO NEW YORK @matthieu_blazy just presented his very first Métiers d’Art show for @chanelofficial , in the heart of New York, in a subway station. The soundtrack, created jointly by @le.motel & @michelgaubert , was conceived somewhat like a radio program that a Chanel woman might listen to while riding the subway. It features a variety of styles & eras, from the classic 'Happy Days', from the series of the same name, to music from the 90s, the soundtrack from the film 'Aftersun', by Oliver Coates, & even that of the play '42nd Street', a classic Broadway musical. This show embodies the essence of New York City, its music & its lifestyle, & imagines the Chanel woman embracing New York codes. 📍Follow @showthattrack more for more soundtracks! GUCCI SQUARE @Demna thought big for his first Cruise show for @Gucci , "GucciCore". The Georgian designer took over Times Square in New York for a spectacular show broadcast on giant screens. The creative director gave us a deeper look into his vision for the Italian fashion house, blending heritage with street culture & drawing inspiration from the energy of New York City. This translated into a mix of streetwear & more classic looks, with patterns drawn from the history of costume, as well as the soundtrack—a perfect blend of old & new. The show opened with the classic "On The Lake", written by Japanese composer Shigeru Umebayashi for Seijun Suzuki’s 1991 film "Yumeji", loosely based on the life of Japanese artist Yumeji Takehisa. The piece was also featured on the soundtrack for the Prada Fall 2025 Menswear show. "Last Train Home" then brought a more minimalist & modern touch, while a softer sound followed with "Austerlitz - Allegretto", originally composed for Season 1 of the HBO series "Succession" (2018) & reused in Noah Baumbach’s latest film starring George Clooney, "Jay Kelly" (2025). The show finally came to a close with @AnokYai , @AlexConsani , & the iconic @CindyCrawford walking to the sound of "The World We Knew (Over and Over)", composed by German artists Bert Kaempfert & Herbert Rehbein. One of the song’s most famous versions is the one sung by Frank Sinatra & released that same year, while it has been covered numerous times, notably by Charles Aznavour. Demna is thus gradually making Gucci his own, once again putting the brand (literally) in the spotlight. DIOR-LLYWOOD Jonathan Anderson presented his very first Cruise show for @Dior this week in Los Angeles, in front of the new galleries at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). The show was a true tribute to Hollywood, to the history of cinema—from Marlene Dietrich & her famous "No Dior, No Dietrich" to David Lynch’s "Mulholland Drive". The French band Air was featured prominently on the soundtrack, as a nod to Christian Dior, the French designer Christian Dior, who traveled to the United States & Los Angeles starting in 1947. The soundtrack, curated by @StudioFredericSanchez , was a true star of the show in its own right, reflecting Jonathan Anderson’s inspirations and setting a unique atmosphere. 📍Follow @showthattrack for more fashion & music news Images: Dior, Hypebeast, Huy Luong, Air Music direction: @StudioFredericSanchez @Frederic_Sanchez #dior #jonathananderson #diorcruise #soundtrack #fashionmusic

THE MYTHICA SOUNDTRACK, PART 2 It was in the heart of Morocco’s Agafey Desert that @LouisVuitton celebrated the launch of its new High Jewelry collection, embodied by Brand Ambassador Ana de Armas. The first part of the evening featured a magical show presenting pieces from the collection, set to the music of "Dune", composed by Hans Zimmer & more. A little later, guests were invited to a second part of the event, featuring a procession, a second show, & the grand finale: a fireworks display over the desert. For this second part of the evening, @MODE_F created a soundtrack once again inspired by the desert, Eastern music, & the magical energy of the location. First, we heard the soundtrack from "The Name of the Rose" (1986) by J-J. Annaud, followed by the soundtrack from the Netflix series "1889", & the soundtrack from "Blade Runner 2049" (2017) by Denis Villeneuve, composed by Hans Zimmer & Benjamin Wallfish. Several pieces evoked Morocco, such as "Moroccan Caravan", & Eastern music, such as "Yâ Habîba L-qalbi (Ô aimé de mon cœur)" or "The Feeling Begins". The selection also includes tracks from the soundtracks of "Dune" ("Herald of The Change"), "Gladiator" ("Homecoming" & "Secrets"), "The Ninth Gate" (1999) ("Vocalise"), while the track "Crescendo (Final)" by @SebastiAn_edbgr is from "Notre Jour Viendra" (2010) by Romain Gavras. Finally, a magnificent fireworks display set to the music of "Resurrection", composed for the documentary "Rebuilding Notre-Dame" (2023). THE MYTHICA SOUNDTRACK After Mallorca, @LouisVuitton chose Marrakech to present its new High Jewelry show & its new 'Mythica' collection. The house invited its guests to the Agafay Desert for an event & dinner celebrating High Jewelry & Moroccan culture. The presentation was a complete visual & auditory experience, featuring a soundtrack created by the duo @MODE_F , inspired by the desert’s beauty. This cinematic experience opened with soundtracks from "Dune" by Denis Villeneuve (2021) & "Ravenous" by Antonia Bird (1999), before continuing with that of "The Sheltering Sky" (1990). "No I.D." is from the film I Smile Back (2015), while Hans Zimmer’s "Resurrection" & "Sorrow" are from the soundtracks of "Dune: Part Two" (2024) & "Gladiator" by Ridley Scott (2000). The music by Brian Tyler & "The Shortening of the Way" also come from the "Dune" universe, as the former is from the 2003 miniseries "Children of Dune", & the latter is from the album "The Dune Sketchbook", the complete & extended version of the soundtrack to Denis Villeneuve’s film. With its High Jewelry show, Louis Vuitton has thus taken us literally & figuratively into the desert, thanks to a rich & immersive soundtrack. 📍Follow @showthattrack for more soundtracks Images: Louis Vuitton Soundtrack production: @MODE_F Production: @BureauBetak Creative Direction of the soundtrack: @BureauBetak #louisvuitton #louisvuittonhighjewelry #highjewellery #victoiredecastellane #dune

Last night, the stars walked the Met Gala red carpet, where designers interpreted the theme "Fashion is Art" in their own unique ways, unveiling the most stunning looks. But in reality, the evening had only just begun, and what happened inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art was just as extraordinary. After Coachella, @SabrinaCarpenter delivered an exclusive performance in front of a star-studded audience, dressed by Versace. More specifically, she wore a dress from the Spring 2018 collection by @Donatella_Versace , itself inspired by Gianni Versace’s Pop Art collection for Spring 1991. The singer thus wore the ultimate artistic reference, printed with a Marilyn Monroe & James Dean motif, taken from the silkscreen prints of Andy Warhol, a major figure in 1960s Pop Art. This isn’t the first time Sabrina Carpenter has referenced Marilyn Monroe, adopting an 'Old Hollywood' aesthetic reminiscent of the actress, as seen on the cover of Vogue’s March 2025 Issue & at the 2024 MTV VMAs. At the time, Madonna also drew inspiration from Marilyn Monroe, just as Sabrina drew inspiration from Madonna—and thus from Marilyn Monroe as well It was, therefore, a full-circle moment—fashion, art, cinema, Old Hollywood aesthetics—& a truly iconic move! 📍Follow @showthattrack for more fashion & music stories Images: Getty Images, Versace, Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Vogue #sabrinacarpenter #marilynmonroe #metgala2026 #metgala #versace

Madonna, Charli XCX, Rosé, Rauw Alejandro, Doja Cat-the 2026 Met Gala was undoubtedly @AnthonyVaccarello ’s night, as he dressed all these artists for Saint Laurent. Among the guests was French singer Charlotte Gainsbourg, dressed by the Belgian designer & the soundtrack for the Saint Laurent Fall 2025 show. But she wasn’t the only French artist on the red carpet-or rather, the beige carpet-since French singer Yseult was also there, wearing a stunning custom @HarrisReed gown. The theme "Fashion is Art" didn’t escape SZA, Janelle Monáe, or Sam Smith, who were dressed in looks each more impressive than the next. As for Laufey, the Icelandic singer wore a custom Tory Burch dress inspired by her favorite instrument, the cello. Which look is your favorite? 📍 Follow @showthattrack for more fashion & music news Images: Getty Images #metgala #metgala2026 #metmuseum #fashionisart #sza
