there are a lot of platforms out there. at one point i was paying for six different record pools, but over time i narrowed it down to the ones that consistently work best for me.
1. record pools
great for open format and club djs who need access to a mix of everything. i regularly check @heavyhitspool and @headlinermusicclub . headliner has some great house edits and their ear buds podcast highlights tracks that are working in clubs around the country. shout to @neiljackson and the team. they have even featured a few of my own remixes. 2. electronic / house
for house digging i usually go to @beatport and @traxsource . one key thing though… don’t just check the top charts. the real gems usually come from digging into labels and artist catalogs. 3. secret weapons
@bandcamp and @soundcloud are great for edits and underground releases you might not find anywhere else. buying on bandcamp also supports producers directly.

at the end of the day the real skill is digging deeper into labels, artists, and underground platforms to find music that helps your sets stand out.
