We are happy to announce our next exhibition: Soft skin, chapped lips (so kissable) From artists Gabriela Lesmes López & Nina Frommelt @gllcradaca @ninaughtyyy Opening 04.03.26. 18:00-21:00 Exhibition open 05.03-30.03.26 Soft skin, chapped lips (so kissable) draws on the spatial logic of staircases, zones suspended between public exposure and private interiority. Transitional places: sites of passage, hesitation, encounter. Lined with doors and peepholes, they offer observation without confirmation. A quiet voyeurism. Staircases appear again and again in popular culture. They are places where someone waits outside a door a little too long. Where a long-anticipated date is pulled across the threshold by the collar. Where kisses happen on the cusp of fully entering the apartment. Between hallway and home, they carry a suspended charge, part exposure, part invitation. They are where desire begins… the first scene in a longer drama. Across the installation, inanimate materials get tangled up with desire. A disassembled railing runs through the space, then reassembles into lathe turned wooden figures leaning and hinging into one another. Objects come alive through contact, through a body activating them, through use. A laser-cut rug traces where clothing has pooled on the floor. The works linger on how sexuality often rehearses itself through objects… doors, railings, fabrics, bedrooms, before it dares to find its way between people. Soft skin, chapped lips (so kissable) borrows its title from three minutes of pop melodrama that frames desire as experiment, performance, spectacle. An invitation to cause a scene. Another imagination of the Distant Markus Moestue & Sheyang Sibo Opening: 15.12.25 18:00-21:00 Exhibition: 16.12.25 - 28.01.2026 After a decade away from Frankfurt I moved back to get bombarded by these Madeleine moments, in search of what time had not changed. In search of where the time had gone. Frankfurt is more like the Captive, sometimes called The Sweet Cheat Gone. The works for this December exhibition seem to have some weirdly translated tonality of this city. A Bactrian camel, with its 2 humps, found and rescued (by Sibo) in the Bahnhofsviertel, and a map of crime in Manhattan. Both out of place but close enough. This type of camel was used for caravans along the Silk road, just like Frankfurt is the city of digital money in Germany, with the oppressive looking data centres (surrounded by barbed wire, high fences and surveillance) popping up around Daimler. They are the non shiny shadow to the glass towers of the city center. And the airport, what most people know about Frankfurt, the bad joke is “Frankfurt isn’t a city with an airport, Frankfurt is an airport with a city attached.” A good place to fly to be able to follow Markus’s Map of the New York neighbourhood, where certain nefarious corporations are based, or you can follow the map around Frankfurt, finding for yourself the same companies here in lovely Frankfurt. @markusmoestue @sheyang_sibo Curated by @markwalkermark

. We are pleased to present “Time Sensitive” . Olga Abeleva and Tallulah Hood Exhibition opening: 16.09.2025 18-21:00 Exhibition runs from 17.09.2025 - 26.10.2025 . “Time Sensitive” the second collaboration between the artists Olga Abeleva and Tallulah Hood. A middle ground between a futuristic autopsy and a late night at the mechanic’s, the sprawling sculpture suggests urban infrastructure, using industrial refuse, medical tubes and televisions as material to create cyborg compositions and complex systems of interdependence. The scale of the work alternates between micro and macro, alluding to architectural models, while simultaneously gesturing at biological functions, economic exchange, mechanical operations and spiritual aspirations. Part ritual sight, part failed utopian project, the installation probes at modernist ideas of the future and their subsequent disillusionment. Discarded objects are repurposed as good luck charms, fetishes and deities. The weather report, the flip of a coin and a google image search all transcend their quotidian meaning and become barometers of chance and voices of fate. Water and currency are interchangeable carriers of information within a self regulating structure. A maladapted mechanism is constructed out of necessity and powered by futility. Throughout the installation is the turmoil and desperate search for meaning that fuels the language of conspiracy theories and simultaneously offers meta reflections of the creative process. Olga and Tallulah have been collaborating since 2024. Their work is concerned with choreographing archetypal sites of crime and desire and the subsequent construction of a complicit viewer. They presented “Truth and Consequences” at the Stadelschule Rundgang, and exhibited in “Cual el peso de la luz” at Pelayo Projects in Madrid. They have upcoming exhibitions at fffriedrich, Goethe Institute and Friedrichskirche in Offenbach @whatsunderthemattress @tallulahhhood . this show is curated by @markwalkermark

. When the World Began to Tick (aktuelle Ausstellung) . Lars Karl Becker, Sathit Sattarasart . FOTOCREDITS @ivan.s.murzin .
