Where's Beth, Shoulderbird, & Medieval Twin
Sunday June 7th at The Hideout
Now On Sale!
Where’s Beth is the alt folk project of Seattle-based songwriter Sarabeth Weszely. Voice and lyrics clear as glass, her performance carries the kind of honesty that makes a room go still.
Raised in the Midwest and trained as a writer, Weszely brings a literary sensibility to her songs, shaped by close observation and restraint. She lived seven years in New York City, where she recorded for my mom & other lovers (2022) and Bone Broth (2024). These early releases introduced her devotion to shared domestic spaces and the emotional textures of the mundane.
Got back a week ago from our southern tour with the Julia Blair band, we had the best time, I love these guys almost as much as I love alligators @ruliablair@caleyconwaymusic@lil.g.finn
Here is Walter Payton’s bass part from Lee Dorsey’s working in a coal mine, when we were in New Orleans last week we visited the site of allen toussaint’s recording studio (although this track was actually recorded at governor nichols st studio) and Julia put this track on, it’s such a great part. I’ve got to learn the DEVO version next 🤓
