The 2026 SHOT Show marked an important milestone beyond business and product innovation. For the first time, NSSF presented a Suicide Prevention Town Hall during the SHOT Show, featuring secvetaffairs and a panel of industry, medical and suicide prevention experts. The session highlighted the importance of secure storage, connection and proactive conversations, while reinforcing that small actions can save lives. For nearly a decade, NSSF has collaborated with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to equip the firearm-owning community with practical tools and resources. This Town Hall further demonstrated NSSF’s commitment to leading thoughtful, responsible conversations that support both industry members and the communities they serve. The Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum exhibit halls are nearly clear of traces of SHOT Show after just three days. Over 50 trucks are being loaded up in the Venetian Expo level 2 exhibit halls this afternoon and a dozen trucks remain on Level 1. A different convention centered around AI moved into the Venetian ballrooms over the weekend and opened today with thousands of people in attendance. SHOT Show will be completely cleared out by the end of the day today. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s show possible. We’ll see you again next year for another exciting SHOT Show.
