“What I Made Wednesday” featuring a screen print of my very own collage Untitled Unmastered Vol 1.
I love the juxtaposition of turning a digital piece into a more tactile piece where each iteration is unique. I can’t wait to experiment with this in another color.
What color should I choose?
Whoever thought you could have simple statement jewelry?

“A Seat at the Table” is finally here! I spent hours listening to @solangeknowles while working on this piece, and the title couldn’t be more fitting. Depicting the contrast between our fruitful mindset and our fruitful labor, the plight and light of Black women shine through in this collage.
Printed on 80lb laser paper in an 11x17 size, this piece blends tradition and modernity, just like the experiences of the women it represents. Shop now 🤎
I put some major work in before I went off to folic for my birthday last week. There’s some stealthy people who kept their eyes peeled and already snagged their goodies, but there’s plenty available to shop. Check it out!
I took a pinch pots class once a week in August, and let me tell you—hand building is no joke! It’s a totally different experience from wheel throwing and definitely more challenging, especially since I had to adapt everything to work with my nails 💅🏾 But I’m loving what I made!
Have you ever tried something new that was tougher than expected? Tell me about it!
Collage has always been a connection to my mom, and this piece reflects that love. It’s a tribute to the many layers of Black womanhood, celebrating our individuality and complexity. Every element has a story, reminding us that we are never just one thing—we are bold, dynamic, and beautifully diverse.
This August I have challenged my self to take a hand building ceramics class. It’s been decades since I’ve made pottery off of the wheel and I’m learning so much. I can’t wait to put my new skills to work creating pieces for Styledentity Home.
In case you missed it: the newest @shopstyledentity collection is available at the @vmfa_shop
What a dream to be able to continue to partner with the institution that has been a source of inspiration to me since I was a child 🤎
Stop in, shop, and explore the museum collections. You won’t regret it.
I’m incredibly transparent with everything it takes to run Styledentity, but I realized I’ve never really talked about the costs associated with a show. To be honest this is an incredibly lenient breakdown as I’ve been doing this for years so I didn’t have to purchase any props, signage, or physical marketing materials this go ‘round.
I also didn’t include the cost of my labor or the raw materials that I purchased to create a lot of the new pieces I made for this event. So, in all honesty I came out on the negative side. Even though it’s the nature of the business it still sucks. Financially it wasn’t the best however I met some amazing people and built some cool connections with artists in another region.
Should I share more💰breakdowns? Do you think the event was worth my time?
