HERE IT IS FINALLY! Heaps of you have been asking about how I managed to edit this photo from an unusable frame to a nicely balanced, warm, summery frame. Here’s a step by step process of how I edited the shot, and a little sneak peek of how I colour grade my photos! Hope this helps! Let me know if you’d like to see more of these examples that i’ve created to help guide you through bringing the most out of your clicks. 👉 Comment ‘PRESET’ and i’ll send you a link to my presets with a 20% off code! Keep shootin! 📍Fiordi Di Furore, Amalfi Coast, Italy. 📸 @canonanz M50II. #madewithlightroom

I never studied photography or editing. Like a lot of people, I just picked up a camera one day and started clicking away. I never cared about what people would say, or those who thought that it wasn’t a ‘textbook’ photo by the rule books. Having Aphantasia (the inability to visually imagine), I took photos because it helped me remember feelings & emotions attached to moment, not because I saw it as a job. Thank you to this amazing community for allowing me to express my own creativity! Never be afraid to start, because you never know where it will take you!

this is why @kodak Portra 400 is so popular. golden hour, harsh midday sun, overcast afternoons, blue hour, direct flash at night. Portra somehow handles all of it without losing its look. soft when you want it to be. punchy when the light gets harsh. clean skin tones almost everywhere. there’s a reason it became the default for so many photographers. #filmphotography #travelphotography

japan felt a bit softer on ColorPlus 200. a hit of nostalgia, warm streets, quiet moments and colours that didn’t feel too sharp to remember. Shot on @kodak ColorPlus 200 🎞️ #filmphotography #travelphotography

Different Kodak films, different looks. Gold 200 → warm, nostalgic ColorPlus 200 → soft, muted Ektar 100 → vibrant, contrasty Portra 160 → clean, neutral Portra 400 → balanced, versatile Ultramax 400 → punchy, bold Film choice changes more than you think. #travelphotography #filmphotography

Each @kodak film has a different look. it’s not just about the light, it’s about the feel of the image. There’s no “best” film, just what suits the scene and light. 🎞️🎞️ Here’s a quick guide to some of my favourites: 👉 Ultramax 400 → punchy contrast, stronger colours Use for: everyday, mixed lighting, quick shooting Avoid: if you want soft, subtle tones 👉 Gold 200 → warm, nostalgic tones Use for: beach days, travel, harsh sun Avoid: low light or flat, grey scenes 👉 Ektar 100 → very saturated, sharp, high contrast Use for: landscapes, cars, bright scenes Avoid: portraits (can look unnatural on skin) 👉 Portra 400 → soft, balanced, natural look Use for: people, travel, mixed lighting Avoid: when you want strong contrast or punch 👉 Portra 160 → clean, fine grain, neutral tones Use for: bright, controlled light, minimal look Avoid: low light or fast-moving situations 👉 ColorPlus 200 → softer, more muted colours Use for: everyday, street, overcast Avoid: scenes where you want strong colour Same scene, different film → completely different mood. Save this if you’re deciding what to shoot next 💾 Have i missed any? What’s your favourite Kodak film to shoot?

Everyone chases Portra like it’s the only film stock that matters. Meanwhile Kodak Gold 200 keeps quietly making photos feel like actual memories. Warmer. Imperfect. Alive. Sometimes “cheap film” is exactly what makes it better. Chuck it in a point and shoot and have fun! Stop sleeping on Kodak Gold. #kodakgold200 #filmphotography #35mmfilm #analogphotography #filmisnotdead

most people shoot beautiful places but post them before they feel like anything. colour grading is usually the difference between documenting a trip and remembering how it felt. shooting log and colour grading used to feel impossible, now I can’t shoot without it! #travelphotography #visualstorytelling #colourgrading

everyone treats Kodak Gold 200 like the ‘cheap’ film stock. like it’s the backup option if you can’t get Portra. but honestly, sometimes Portra is too perfect. Kodak Gold has warmth. imperfection. that nostalgic look that actually feels like a memory instead of just a clean photo. not every photo needs to look expensive. sometimes it just needs to feel real. it makes point and shoot film cameras look good too! stop sleeping on Kodak Gold! 🎞️ @kodak Gold 200. 🧪 scan/dev: @silverhalidestudios #kodakgold200 #filmphotography #35mmfilm #analogphotography #filmisnotdead
