A look back at the beautiful work by our Chapel Artists in Residence 2025–26, Sonnie Carlebach (@shimternet ) and Ushara Dilrukshan (@ushara_x )
Working on site in the Chapel, and collaborating with partner institutions and artist collectives, the duo have been bringing an inspiring programme into local life through a diverse range of activities and events. Their interdisciplinary practice explores sound, performance and participatory workshops. Both graduated from the MA Information Experience Design at the Royal College of Art in 2025.
Their residency continues into 2026, with much more on the horizon. Watch this space for new projects soon 🌪️

Cell Deletion is an experimental music and performance project exploring narrative journeys between embodied, analogue and digital sound.
As a noise opera duo we conduct charged, atmospheric journeys that sit between ambient, drone, noise and operatic lament.
