Ink on yupo paper is a thrilling medium for me. It tests control, creativity and patience. I love creating shapes and colors that remind me of undersea coral and creatures that I have seen during my scuba diving adventures. Celebrating this imaginary sea life reminds me of the beauty and wonder of the great deep. This series of sixteen, 18x18 inch paintings and six 10x10” works were recently completed for upcoming shows that include Aqua Art Miami and Venice (to be shown during next year’s Biennale).
