These limited edition art prints are drawn from Garden of Words, an illustrated publication that explores the symbolic meanings of plants in ancient Persia. Blending visual storytelling with historical and cultural research, the publication traces deep connections between language, mythology, and nature.
Each plant is presented not only as a botanical form, but as a vessel of meaning carrying narratives of wisdom, resilience, and spirituality. The prints focus on two concepts: Zāyandegī (generativity), associated with the pomegranate as a symbol of fertility and life-giving abundance, and Shādī (joy), represented through saffron, long linked to celebration, light, and spiritual vitality in Persian culture.

We hosted a block-printing workshop featuring an original design by @shima.aeen — an “artist emergency kit” brought to life on a tote bag, celebrating all the essentials an artist might need. 🎨👜
Block printing is a hands-on technique where designs are carved into a block, inked, and pressed onto fabric or paper to create bold, beautiful impressions.
Held from Nov 21–24, the workshop welcomed 75+ participants who brought incredible energy and creativity to the space.
