Show, don’t tell.
Last week, defense leaders, partners, and customers from four continents joined us in Texas for Demo Days. Participants watched multiple autonomous systems operate as a team powered by Hivemind, and saw firsthand how we build, deploy, and operate V-BAT globally.
Thank you to all our attendees for your time, trust, and partnership!

From Tokyo to D.C.: Japan's leaders focused on sovereign AI
Last week, we hosted a delegation from Japan’s National Diet and the @sasakawausa at our Washington, D.C, office. Our CTO Nathan Michael joined the conversation on how Hivemind can support Japan's sovereign AI and national security priorities. V-BAT is already the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's first maritime-based ISR platform on surface vessels, and we look forward to expanding our autonomy capabilities across defense and commercial missions with Japan and our partners worldwide.

Hivemind is heading to sea in Taiwan.
We are partnering with Thunder Tiger Corp. to integrate Hivemind across their unmanned systems portfolio, starting with a live demonstration on an unmanned surface vessel this summer.
"Hivemind has been integrated and proven across dozens of platforms worldwide, and we are excited to see it on the water in Taiwan with Thunder Tiger, supporting the kind of cross-domain, multi-agent teaming that changes what unmanned systems can do in contested environments. Our partnership with Thunder Tiger is about getting Taiwan MND the asymmetric capabilities needed to deter conflict and is part of a broader strategy to support Taiwan." - Brandon Tseng, co-founder of Shield AI and a former U.S. Navy SEAL

🎙️Tomorrow on Taiwan Frontlines Podcast
Drones are dominating the global defense conversation, and nowhere is that more consequential than Taiwan, which recently committed roughly $3B to build out a domestic drone ecosystem.
Joining Bonnie and Jason is Brandon Tseng, Co-Founder and President of US aerospace and defense tech company Shield AI, which recently signed a teaming agreement with Taiwanese aerospace firm AIDC.
The episode explores how to build secure drone supply chains, the role of Taiwan's coast guard and navy in the deterrence picture, and what autonomous warfare in the Strait could look like.

J.J. Cummings: @usnavy fighter pilot, TOPGUN, and now working on the world's first AI-piloted VTOL fighter jet.
On the latest episode of the @fighterpilotpodcast , J.J. joins Tucker Hamilton to talk carrier aviation, advising Top Gun: Maverick, and what it's like working on X-BAT at the edge of autonomous air combat.
He puts it best: "I love working for this company. The culture is fantastic. I am ten times busier than my last job, but a thousand times happier because every day I wake up knowing what's expected of me. We have a team that works together to accomplish this potential revolution in naval aviation, and the company shows gratitude and appreciation every day. Every day I make a difference at Shield AI.”

The strongest alliances are built in person.
At the @armynavyclubdc in Washington last week, Brandon Tseng and Belgian Minister of Defence @theofrancken1 discussed the evolving security picture in Europe and how Shield AI can support @nato members with cutting-edge, battle-tested capabilities. Shield AI has permanent offices across Europe and systems deployed in mission environments today. We are working alongside our partners to strengthen NATO’s deterrent posture.

Whatever the weather, V-BAT persists.
Built for the real world, not the ideal world, V-BAT operates with a small footprint and minimal logistics, from ship decks to some of the most austere locations on the planet, across open ocean or land-based sites, in environments where GPS and comms are jammed.
If you want to join the team that makes it happen for our customers around the world, check out our open roles.

250 years of fighting forward, and the @marines aren't slowing down.
We were on the ground at @moderndaymarine this week, connecting with industry, government, and customers on how our products tackle the toughest problems in the fight. V-BAT has deployed with every Marine Expeditionary Unit and is actively deployed today, delivering mission impact across the force.
We look forward to continuing to support the Marines and building on our partnership!

A new chapter in New Delhi!
This week, our President and Co-Founder Ryan Tseng and retired @usnavy Admiral John Aquilino, former @indopacom commander and member of our Defense Advisory Board, joined Managing Director Sarjan Shah for the official opening of Shield AI's New Delhi office and met with the Indian Ministry of Defence.
Shield AI India is now live as a wholly owned subsidiary supporting software integration, engineering, and autonomy development. The New Delhi office is open with a second location in Bengaluru opening this summer.
"Being a strong partner means being present and working alongside our customers. With our New Delhi office, and with our plans to expand soon in Bengaluru as well, we are strengthening our ability to support India's autonomy priorities and partner on systems that can be built, deployed, and sustained within the country, while growing a pipeline of Indian engineers and developers who can build and evolve mission autonomy on Indian terms." — Sarjan Shah

Performance. Assurance. Speed.
Shield AI CTO Nathan Michael joined John Werner's Imagination in Action at @mit for a panel on "Autonomy at the Edge: Warfighters, AI, and the Future of Defense" — covering the future of warfare, battlefield iteration, and what it takes to deliver proven autonomy at the speed of relevance.
"We focus on performance, assurance, and speed. That creates an incredible tension. You have to be able to rapidly iterate based on knowledge, information, and data collected in the field, which is highly dynamic. It becomes a question of how do you move very quickly, deliver this exquisite capability, and how do you do that with assurance?"

That's a wrap at @navyleague_us@seaairspace 2026!
Our team had a fantastic week connecting with leaders from the @usnavy , including @usnavycno Admiral Daryl Caudle.
As we continue supporting the Navy, @uscg , and @marines with V-BAT, we’re also looking ahead – expanding the ability to project power across expansive maritime domains with X-BAT, the world's first AI-piloted VTOL fighter jet, and showcasing how Hivemind is already shaping the future of autonomy across sea, air, and space.
Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.
Last week, we shared results of our fourth autonomous flight test on the H145 as part of the @marines Aerial Logistics Connector program, in partnership with Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Parry Labs, and @l3harristech . For the first time, all four teams' technologies operated together on a single aircraft, with Hivemind detecting obstacles on the landing zone and autonomously rerouting to a safe alternate site in flight.
Behind every test like this is a team that makes the hardest problems look routine. Watch them in action.
