From Ellie to Elite Ellie 📈
In the first video, you can see Ellie’s foot turning out. This was a habit that will "leak" her power. When the foot turns out like that, the glutes don't work right for what we what to achieve. This has been leading to knee and back pain for Ellies case .
In the second video, Ellie is being intentional. She is focused on keeping her foot straight so her hips do the work. We are still working on it, but she is learning to control her movement.
Why this is a win:
Using the Glutes: Now her big muscles are working. This protects her knees and back from getting hurt.
No Wasted Energy: She isn't losing power anymore. She moves with more "snap."
Better Stamina: Since she isn't wasting energy, she can play hard until the very end.
