I LOVE using AI to create characters and this set is for one of the skateboard decks for the upcoming @adxportland show on June 7th. Will I see you there? For this series I drew inspiration from my own struggles with limerence, as well as festival fashion, my love of natural minerals and gold, and the heavy adornments worn by brides at Indian weddings. Here are my 10 favorite looks I put down the runway at @portlandfashionweek
I’ve really been leaning into my person favorite aesthetic to wear, what I call “high femme.” I started off the year talking a lot about how I was striving to do bridal, and I did do bridal, but the majority of the favorites I put out this year were what someone accurately described as “Marie Antoinette rave wear” I love keeping it fancy, formal, fun, and funky all at the same time.
I’m currently working on a natural tones line as my gift to the Pacific Northwest. I’ve been slowly assimilating my aesthetic to accommodate the more muted earth tones that this area lends itself to rather than San Francisco’s flamboyance that I’ve been riding the wave of for years.
