Aight so check it, life has dealt me some pretty interesting cards lately and I’ve found myself in need of some assistance if you can. I’m gonna get right to it and give you the facts… In Summer of 2025, I was given a Breast Cancer diagnosis, IDC Stage 2A. Subsequently in Fall of 2025, I got injured at work resulting in the need for ACL and Meniscus Surgery. After LOTS of various doctors appointments, I got ACL and Meniscus Surgery in November 2025 and began Chemotherapy/Targeted Treatment infusions in December 2025. Whew! Okay, got that out! As of now, I’ve completed 4 of 6 Rounds of Chemotherapy & Targeted Treatment. After which, I’ll be scheduled for surgery and then an assessment will be done to see what’s needed after that. As of now, this entire process is scheduled through December 2026. Regarding my knee, full recovery is expected within about 9 months to year. As many of you know, I’m an Event Producer, Performer and Teacher and my work involves heavy movement & public interaction. The treatments and knee injury have limited my ability to work since November. While I’m fortunate that insurance is covering most of the medical bills, all other bills have piled up. Your donations will help me with life’s expenses as well as keeping me afloat while I’m in between work and literally figuring my life out. I would deeply appreciate any support you can manage and if you’d kindly share this info with others, I’d be so so grateful. Love y’all and thank you in advance for looking out for the kid! GoFundMe link is in my bio sweet thangs. (Also PS: I’m VERY intentional about the wording I use regarding this situation. I always say “ THE diagnosis , THE Diagnosis I was given, and THE treatments. Cuz I’m not taking ownership of this thing and words matter ya feel me?! Okay? Okay!) 🫂🥰🫂

Over these past 3 years & especially over these past few months, The love of my friends has fulfilled me and sustained me in a way that feels beyond words. The love of my friends has comforted me, has carried me and lifted me from the depths of sorrows at times. It’s been a Love that knows no bounds continuously. I have been so fortunate to know this type of love. From in person quality time, to home cooked meals, to teas, to flowers, to laughter, to handwritten notes, to hugs, to FaceTime calls and more, my friends have truly shown up for me. Words can’t even begin to describe how deeply grateful I am. Here’s a few of the physical gifts I’ve received including some new non toxic pots thanks to my sweet uncle. 🥰🥹🌼 Thank yall fr fr.

Aight yall so, I decided to give y’all a quick lil look into what my day before treatment looks like. I also wanted to show y’all that, despite everything, I do have some good days and at the end of the day, I’m still me! Meow!! 🐈‍⬛ Also, I’m STILL in the process of responding to all the love, support, calls, dms & texts from all you lovelies. Words cannot even describe the depth of my gratitude to each and every one of yall. Truly. I love y’all fr fr and thank you for loving me. 🥹🫂

Things I’ve Never Posted: Zanzibar Part 1 So tbh, Zanzibar was a place I’d vaguely heard of but knew nothing about. It sounded real exotic & far away, not only in distance but in reality. So once I got the opportunity to go, I was SOUPED! It was my first time in Africa and the people were SO genuinely warm, kind & receiving. There was even a point when the locals started speaking Swahili to me, thinking I was from there. (LOVE that for me, like YAZ family!!!) The beaches, particularly in Nungwi, are hands down the most beautiful I’ve ever seen in my travels so far. I got to explore & even experienced a fabulous spice tour that ending in a feast with food & fruits from the farm I was on. And if you know me, you know I love me a good meal okay?! Zanzibar holds such a special place in my heart and as soon as I get the chance, I’m going back!

Aight so, I never heard of Oman before. I just knew I was going on a pretty pricey trip across the world (to ZNZ) & I wanted to make the most of a stopover. So boom, Oman it was. After changing into the appropriate attire (plus I wanted to be on theme), & storing my bags at the airport, I was out! When I travel, I like to fully engage in the culture of each country, so I already had my plan set. I went outside and found a driver who took me around for the day. First stop was the Sultan Qaboos Grand. 10/10 Would highly recommend it. Absolutely stunning. At the end, I got to chat it up with the ladies of this sacred space over tea and dates.  Then I went to the Souq. Y’all know I love shopping, & apparently it’s custom to Haggle (which is right up my alley lol). So I was in there talking ish, & cracking jokes with all the vendors who kept stopping me. I left with this delicious smelling oil & some frankincense. There was no time to fully see the Old Quarter, so my driver took me to eat some delicious traditional food of Oman and that was that! Out of respect to the spaces I was in, I wasn’t able to take too many photos. But I had THEE best time, and definitely will go back! (swipe to see my sweet driver. I hope he’s doing well.)
