#TBT - Showcasing beautiful textures ✨+ a little reintroduction…. If you know me, you know my passion lies in showcasing the beauty of textured hair in all its forms. As a Black woman working in high fashion, it’s an honor to have brought Black hair to the runway in a way that feels both authentic and celebrated.
What you may not know—I had the privilege of curating and running inventory for a dedicated textured hair kit while working with Guido Palau’s team. I oversaw hair care and styling execution for textured hair models, ensuring the right products and techniques were used to bring each look to life and keep the integrity of each models hair. Beyond that, I collaborated on creating and refining styles that honored texture while aligning with the vision of each show.
After a 2.5-year maternity leave, I’m beyond excited to step back into this world, bringing fresh perspective, renewed passion, and even more dedication to elevating textured hair in fashion. The journey continues! ✨ #fendi #sheripintohair using @amika
