Last week we got to celebrate the longlisted illustrators for the Klaus Flugge Prize 2026!
It was so nice to spend time with the 6 of our 8 MACBI graduates longlisted for the honour who could make it to the event (out of 18 longlisted total) and to hear last year’s winner @emmafarrarons extoll the virtues of observational drawing! Preach!

Bologna 2026 was a Blast!!
What a successful Book Fair- So many visitors, lots of meetings held, lots of time together and lots of gelato.
Thank you to all those who helped make our @csacbi@cambridge_school_of_art happen, and to all those who came and visited! It really was one of the busiest stands in the hall.

-seeing four books by grads hanging in the BRAW Amazing Bookshelf display 🎉🎉🎉
-sitting in on Masterclasses and meeting other @svamfaillustration grads!
-student work in illustrators exhibition 🥳
-and exhibitions around town
-chilling with friends on our stand…
-and the most absolutely wonderful students a teacher could hope for 🥹
-the new and exciting Design Studio at the fair with more great talks!
-evenings with the best work colleagues/friends I can imagine ❤️
