Summer is here, and we’re taking it outside. 🌞
From mountain bike rides to mountaineering objectives and more, May is packed with opportunities to move, learn, and connect in the outdoors. Whether you’re trying something new or building on your skills, there’s a place for you this month.
Come join us out there! Head to the 🔗 in our bio to find an event near you!
For 11 days, the world watched Artemis II push beyond what once felt impossible.
We watched Christina Koch become the first woman to travel around the moon. We celebrated the women leading launch operations, mission control, astronaut training, and spacecraft engineering.
And we were reminded of something powerful: No one reaches new heights alone.
At SheJumps, we see that same magic every day.
A volunteer handing out snacks at the trailhead.
A first-time skier getting cheered on by new friends.
Women and girls discovering courage, confidence, and connection outdoors together.
Last year, 110+ volunteers across 16 states helped create 150+ events and 1,800+ hours of outdoor programming for 2,753 women and girls.
That kind of joy and community doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because people like you believe in it. Help us reach our $20,000 fundraising goal by May 31 and power the joy that makes SheJumps possible.

We can’t believe how the winter has flown by! Subaru Winterfest wrapped in March, and we are reminiscing on our @sheskifest Access Day, sponsored by @subaru_usa , on February 21st at @coppermtn
Subaru provided SheJumps with:
🎟️ 50 lift tickets
🎿 10 sets of rentals
🏂 24 beginner lessons
🍔 and lunch!
These resources supported our goals of removing barriers of access to get more women out on the slopes!
For many of the women in attendance, this was their first day on skis, and for others, this Access Day is the only day of the year they are able to hit the slopes with their gal pals. 👯♀️
New friends were made, confidence was gained, dance parties were had, fears were conquered, and there was no shortage of sparkles and smiles on the mountain. @subaru_usa and SheJumps are jointly committed to outdoor joy and access for everyone, and days like this remind us why!

As we wrap this season of SheJumps Into the Canyon, we’re reflecting on the full arc of the past few weeks, time spent on snow at @altaskiarea and in the climbing gym @saltlakebllouderingproject , each space offering new challenges, growth, and moments of connection.
From first turns on skis to first routes on the wall, participants showed up with curiosity and courage. What started as new and sometimes uncertain quickly became familiar, built through encouragement, repetition, and a community that showed up for one another every step of the way.
This program is about access, but it’s also about what happens after that access exists. Confidence builds. Friendships form. Skills grow across different environments, and participants begin to see themselves in these spaces in new ways.
Week after week, it’s the small moments that stay with us, cheering each other on, trying again after a fall, sharing stories in between runs and climbs. Those moments are what carry forward long after the program ends.
Thank you to our participants, volunteers, partners, and instructors who made this season possible. Your time, care, and commitment are what bring this program to life.
We’re already looking forward to next year.

WE’RE BACK!! 🙌✨ Partnering again with @shejumps is an absolute dream come true for us at SHREDLY — and we couldn’t be more THRILLED! 🎉
We believe real change and lasting participation in outdoor activities starts with investing back into our community, and creating more opportunities for EVERYONE to find joy outdoors. SheJumps lives and breathes this mission every single day, and we are honored to support them once again by donating 20% of profits from the SHREDLY + SheJumps Limited Edition Glove.
If you don’t know @shejumps yet — meet your new favorite nonprofit! Their mission is to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities through inclusive and transformative outdoor experiences. Basically, they’re out here changing lives.
🦒🦄 And that gorgeous creature on your new favorite glove? Meet the GIRAFFICORN. Half giraffe, half unicorn — ALL magic. She’s here to remind the kid in all of us to get outside and PLAY. With feet on the ground and head in the clouds (dreaming up her next adventure, of course), the Girafficorn is the ultimate symbol of possibility, adventure, and taking that leap toward your greatest potential. 💫
Let’s gooo. ️🚴♀️⚡️

Longs Peak is our only Colorado climb this year and next 🤯, and a mountain many climbers see as a true rite of passage! From building toward bigger objectives to moving through Rocky Mountain National Park with an all-women team, this experience is about more than reaching the summit.
You’ll be guided by IFMGA + Moxie Elite certified guides and supported by a group showing up for each other every step of the way.

Volunteering is good for the soul, and this community proves it. ☀️
This past week, we had the chance to come together and celebrate the volunteers who make SheJumps what it is. These moments, shared laughter, connection, and time outside, are at the heart of it all.
To our volunteers: thank you for everything you bring to this community. This work wouldn’t exist without you. If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, build community, and help create more access in the outdoors, we’d love to have you. Learn more about volunteering at the link in our bio.

Our work is fueled by the supporters who invest in us. Last month, Athletic Brewing @athleticbrewing highlighted SheJumps as the organization that would benefit from the proceeds of Trailblazer, one of their IMPACT Series Brews. They donated $25,000 to support our work, and crispy N/A brews for our participants, donors, and volunteers to enjoy at SheJumps events! Most recently, our Colorado volunteers got together to enjoy a community day in the sun to kick off Volunteer Appreciation Week.
For Volunteer Appreciation Week (and every week), we’re celebrating the people who make SheJumps possible, our volunteers. Across the country, this community shows up. They lead, organize, mentor, and create space for women and girls to step outside, try something new, and build lasting connections. Every event, every shared moment, every new skill learned starts with their commitment. We’re endlessly grateful for the time, care, and energy our volunteers bring into this community.
So cheers to our volunteers, and to those who support this work alongside us!

We have officially wrapped up another incredible season of SheJumps Into the Canyon at @altaskiarea .
Our final weekends together brought everything this program is about. One weekend gifted us fresh snow and cooler temps—an opportunity for participants to step beyond spring conditions and build confidence in new terrain. Nerves at the start of the day turned into real progress by the end, with some navigating intermediate runs and others building skills at the beginner lift—many for the very first time.
Our last day of the season came with its own challenges. Shifting spring weather and lightning kept us off the lifts longer than expected, but what could have been a setback turned into something special. We played Uno, sang, laughed, and shared stories alongside our instructors, building friendships that will last far beyond these weekends. And when the lifts finally reopened, we got in our final turns of the year together.
What continues to stand out about this program is the constant learning—not just for participants, but for volunteers and leaders as well. The people who show up, year after year (and for the first time) remind us how powerful a community can be when we show up where it matters.
Thank you to everyone who made this season possible—our participants, volunteers, partners, and the incredible Alf Engen Ski School instructors. You are what makes this community so special.
We can’t wait to do it all again next year.

Earth Day isn’t just about the planet; it’s about our relationship to it. 🌎
At SheJumps, that relationship starts with access, community, and outdoor play that transforms. When women and girls get outside, something shifts, and that connection lasts far beyond a single day.
