🌻La Dompteuse | The Tamer🌻 Hide your toilets 🚽 Mother is Mothering . . I’ve always been a fan of the photography of @pierre_pierreetgilles @pierreetgilles_gilles . The rich iconographic and mythic fantastical sets were also cheeky and campy and horny. Then I had a dream about a toreador outfit, and I knew I had to make this photoshoot idea come to life. Then I realized, I really wanted to involve the Cakes. So much of my drag and what I’m inspired has to do with my family. We’re so motley but distinctive, and we’d been talking about a photoshoot forever and I really felt the vibe of this type of shoot could really showcase our diversity. Working with @jeremyandcamillo was an absolute dream. When I explained my idea to them, they were immediately enthusiastic and understood exactly what I wanted. They spent the week photographing objects and were so intricate and communicative throughout the whole process. The garment I commissioned from @pixiedotjpg / @studiodotjpg was EXACTLY what I wanted. She was able to fit in every single detail I wanted and it just is so masterfully crafted! Let me know if I should make a reel about the process! My drag break has been going well, thank you for asking. I’ve been able to go to the gym more, stay on top of plant chores, enjoy and support my drag family and other drag artists, and be with my dog.
